It has been a difficult year for everyone especially musicians. Music lovers have felt the loss of live shows keenly and during the lockdown, Classical Crossover Magazine has sought to unite the classical crossover community with a series of lockdown concerts. We have been honored to feature some of the finest voices in the crossover genre including G4, Margaret Keys, Nadia Eide, Barbara Padilla, Karl Loxley, Lucy Kay, Classical Reflection and so many other incredible performers.

“A Crossover Christmas” is the final lockdown concert of the year and we are excited to bring a selection of music highlighting the hope and joy of the Christmas season. This time we feature voices from England, Wales, and the United States.

Agne G (Soprano), Lithuania / United States

Agne G is a wonderful talent who has already won numerous competitions and even performed at the legendary Carnegie Hall. Agne is continuing to develop her talent in college and performs in a variety of styles.

Belle Voci (Sopranos), England

Emily and Sophie are two incredible sopranos who met while waitressing. They discovered a shared passion for music and began performing together. They were featured on the UK version of ‘The Voice’ on team Jennifer Hudson.

Christina Johnston (Soprano), England

Christina Johnston has had an incredible career as a coloratura soprano. She has sung in Europe, Asia, and South America. Christina is known to fans as “The Nightingale” for the purity of her voice and high notes. We have been pleased to feature her in 3 of our lockdown concerts!

Classical Reflection (Sopranos), England

Twin sisters Naomi and Hannah were introduced to the British Public on “The Voice.” They have sung at famous venues like the Royal Albert Hall, 02 Arena, and Wembley Stadium. Their album “ECHO” reached No.3 in the UK Classical Charts. They have already been featured once in the lockdown series.

Ellen Williams (Soprano), Wales

Ellen Williams is a wonderful soprano who has a successful career on the operatic and classical stage. She has performed at the Royal Albet Hall, Cadogan Hall, and Wales Millenium Centre among others. Ellen also sang for HRH The Prince of Wales in Buckingham Palace. Ellen is also a member of the Welsh trio, Athena and performed with them at one of our previous lockdown concerts

Gemma Turner (Soprano), England

Known as the “Wedding Singer” Gemma Turner has West End performances to her credit at The London Palladium and The Royal Albert Hall along with a Nationwide Theater Tour. Today she continues to bring special moments as a solo artist and with the Bel Canto Sopranos. We are pleased to have Gemma back after she has performed in 2 of our lockdown concerts!

Georgi Mottram (Soprano), England

Georgi Mottram is a lovely young soprano who studied opera at Trinity College of Music. She has performed onstage in roles like Maria in West Side Story. Georgi was recently signed by Artistry Management and is a member of the classical crossover girl-group Ida Girls.

Jay Dref (Baritone), United States

Jay Dref is a fantastic baritone who honed his skills at the Julliard School of Music. He made a name for himself in crossover with the release of “Taxi in the Rain” by Grammy and Academy Award-nominee Stephan Moccio and producer Lauren Christy. Jay has been featured in 3 of our previous lockdown concerts and we always excited to have him back!

Jennifer Thomas (Pianist\Composer), United States

Jennifer Thomas is an amazing pianist, violinist, and composer. She is also a mother who has seen her albums high on the Billboard chart and is a proud Yamaha artist. In recent years she has been finding fame outside of the crossover world when her compositions have been used for figure skaters such as Rika Khiria and Alysa Liu.

Jonathan Cilia Faro (Tenor), Italy / United States

Jonathan Cilia Faro is a tenor who found success early in Italy selling over 100,000 copies of his first album. As one of the rare prodigies whose success has continued into adulthood, fans are privileged to see how his voice and songwriting abilities have progressed.

Louisa Alice-Rose (Soprano), England

Louisa Alice-Rose is a soprano from England. She performed on the West End as a young child and then later continued to develop her voice by studying opera. Lousia also runs a successful performing arts school.

Nadia Eide (Soprano), Norway/Sweden

Nadia Eide is a beautiful soprano who has already reached No.1 in the classical charts. She has been featured in BBC’s “Pitch Battle,” and been seen onstage in various classical and crossover tours (Celtic Ladies with Jonathan Ansell). During quarantine, Nadia released a series of extremely well-received online concerts. She has also been featured in three of our lockdown concerts. Nadia’s album Première is available now.

Natasha Barbieri (Mezzo Soprano), United States

Natasha Barbieri made her stage debut in “Amahl and the Night Visitors.” She was also a winner of the Andrews University “Young Artist Competition.” Natasha has released three albums with her sister Crystal and is the editor and creator of Classical Crossover Magazine.

Tiffany Desrosiers (Soprano), Canada

Tiffany Desrosiers is a stunning soprano who has made a career for herself as a true crossover performer. She studied opera and has toured across North America with Vivace and also at the 2010 Olympics with Classical Nouveaux and Il Voce. Tiffany has also performed with David Foster, Ben Harper, and The Three Graces to name a few.

Veritas (Musical group), United States

Veritas is a musical group who blend classical with Gospel, Broadway, and popular music. They have found great success and performed at places like Carnegie Hall. The current members are: Andrew Goodwin (Tenor), James Berrian (Baritone), Jeff Anderson (Tenor), Jordan Johnson (Tenor) & Scott Lawrence (Bass).

Creator of Classical Crossover Magazine. For Natasha music has always been closely tied to her faith. At age 18, Natasha made her opera debut playing the part of the mother in Menotti’s ‘Amahl and the Night Visitors’ with the Eastern Festival Opera. At 20, she was a winner of the 2011 Young Artist Competition at Andrews University. Natasha graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor’s of Music. Natasha has released a series of Holiday singles “A Place Called Home” (2020), “One Little Boy,” and “The Perfect Year” (2021). In 2021, she was nominated for the ‘Future Classic Women Awards’ show on Men’s & Women’s Radio Station. Natasha is the creator and editor of ‘Classical Crossover Magazine’ a venture that has allowed her to interview many of the top stars in the genre including Sarah Brightman, Celtic Woman, Mirusia, Paul Potts, and more. During the covid-19 pandemic, she created an online concert series for the magazine that has seen her perform in the same line-up as Alex Sharpe, Lucy Kay, Barbara Padilla, Classical Reflection, and more on the virtual stage. In 2022, Natasha was included on the charity album “Stars of Classical Crossover: Christmas” in benefit of the Wallace & Gromit Children’s Charity.
